Every season thousands of Cincinnati Reds fans flock to Great American Ball Park to watch the country's first professional baseball team take the field. Baseball is part of our local culture, and it doesn't get more Cincy than this. The American Ball Park is located at The Banks, an entertainment district nestled between downtown Cincinnati and the riverfront. At The Banks you'll find a variety of sports bars and restaurants as well as nearby regional attractions like the Reds Hall of Fame Museum, National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, The Cincinnati Black Music Walk of Fame and Smale Park. Part of this area is even classified as a DORA district, where you can bring your drink to-go with you during certain hours of the day.
The Zoological Society of Cincinnati was founded in 1873 and officially opened its doors in 1875, making the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden the second oldest Zoo in the United States. With 65 acres of animal habitats, attractions, botanical gardens, and the most famous hippo bloat in the world, the Cincinnati Zoo is one of the best places to explore your wild side.
Today, there are more than 80 breweries across the Cincy Region that pay homage to the past, while embracing unique American beer styles and providing fun and inviting spaces to gather and enjoy a cold one. Everyone will love hanging out at Rhinegeist Brewery, where you can play all your favorite games like ping pong, corn hole, and wiffle ball inside their kid-friendly taproom. Grab a wood-fired pizza and brew at MadTree Brewing, sample real fruit sour beers at Urban Artifact housed in a historic church, raise a glass on the roof of Braxton Brewing in downtown Covington, and visit Third Eye Brewing in Sharonville for a beer and a bite in the Northern Lights District. Grab a pint at one of these Cincy breweries, tap rooms, beer gardens and more.
