The recommended attire for the Church wedding is formals (Western or Indian).
St. Diogo's Church was built in 1604 and is known for its intricately designed altars and interiors. Shared between the villages of Guirim and Sangolda, this beautiful Neo-Romanesque Church stands out among the surrounding fields with its whitewashed exterior and tiled roof. The main altar is dedicated to the patron St. Diogo and on either side is St. Anthony of Padua and St. Francis of Assisi. Light refreshments will be provided after the Nuptials. There is ample parking available at the Church.

The Church and the Reception venue are located just 1.5 kms from each other. It's party time! Join us for an evening full of live music & non-stop dancing. Get ready to shake your legs to waltz, jive and the Goan-Mangalorean masala. We look forward to welcoming you to this special evening, where we will dance the night away, toast to our love, and enjoy delicious food and drinks with our closest friends and family.

The MOPA airport is location about 24 kms from St. Diogo's Church as well as Silver Bells Reception venue. There are multiple taxi options available at the airport (prepaid taxis as well as GoaMiles app).

Dabolim Airport is location about 34 kms from St. Diogo's Church and the Silver Bells Reception venue. Similar to MOPA airport, there are several prepaid taxis available as well as the GoaMiles app.

Thivim is the closest railway station to the wedding location. It is around 14 kms away.

Areas to Stay: Sangolda
Sangolda is a picturesque village in North Goa, India, located just 6 kms from the popular tourist destination of Calangute. It offers a more relaxed and authentic Goan experience than the more crowded beaches and tourist areas of North Goa. There are a variety of accommodation options, from budget guesthouses to luxury villas as well as a number of good restaurants in the village, serving both Indian and international cuisine. This is the closest area to the Church and Reception venue.

Saligao is a charming village in North Goa that is known for its beautiful Portuguese-style houses, lush green paddy fields, and vibrant culture. It is a popular destination for tourists who are looking for a more authentic Goan experience, away from the hustle and bustle of the larger resorts. Saligao is around 5-10 minutes away from the Church and Wedding venue.

Areas to Stay: Porvorim
Porvorim is a town in North Goa with a city vibe. It is full of restaurants, shops, salons and a mall. This is a good place to stay if you want to be close to amenities and transportation options. It is around 10-15 minutes away from the Church and Reception venue. You may experience some traffic during peak hours.

Areas to Stay: Baga, Calangute & Candolim
Baga, Calangute & Candolim are beach locations that offer a number of resort, hotel and villa options. There are also a number of restaurants nearby serving a wide variety of Goan, Indian and international cuisines. These are good options if you would like to stay near the beach. However, they are slightly further away from the Church and Reception venues. Expect travel times between 20 and 30 minutes. During weekends, there is generally heavier tourist traffic so travel times may vary.
