How we met

For her, it started as a Freshman at San Diego State where a polite acknowledgment of a trio of misfits, Andres, Pablo, and Mike, evolved into lasting friendships that continue to this day. These friendships were forged at house parties and acting classes, and culminated in a rendezvous at Cabo Cantina in Pacific Beach one Sunday afternoon in 2013. For him, it started when he enrolled at San Diego State for grad school and he moved into a house with his high school friend Andres, and Pablo. Andres and Pablo showed him the ropes in San Diego and integrated him into their friend group. After moving closer to his Sister, Jean, Joe found himself as a resident of Pacific Beach. On that fateful Sunday afternoon, Joe met up with Pablo at Cabo Cantina when Ro walked in. Ro and Joe had struck up a friendship that continued until Joe graduated, and moved to Houston to pursue a career. Life continued on and Joe and Ro stayed in touch. YADA YADA YADA Joe had always wanted to move back to San Diego, and finally found the opportunity in 2019. Sparks lead to a flame which quarantines and a worldwide pandemic could not stifle. Thankfully, Ro's two fur babies Luigi and Jorah accepted him as is, and they have been a happy family ever since. Since meeting, they have come to find small world connections that they have determined as fate steering them together. They each met others long time besties, Aaron and Dre, far before even meeting each other. For the past 4 and a half years, their lives have been filled with the most love, and loudest laughter at dumbest jokes they can think of. They are so excited to share the start of this next chapter with those closest to them, and look forward to growing with each other for a lifetime.

Things To Do

There are so many great ways to spend your time in San Diego. Our favorite place to wander around is Liberty Station. There is a food hall, art exhibits, movie theater, not to mention great cafe and restaurant options. Sea Hive with all of its curated eccentricities is a must see also. It always seems like there is some event going on in Liberty Station. Ocean Beach and Newport Ave is a classic San Diego spot. Maybe grab a taco at Mikes Taco Club and a beer at OB Brewery and walk out to dog beach by the jetty. Unfortunately the pier is closed but there is plenty else to wander around to see. Walking down Sunset Cliffs Ave for sunset the best view that San Diego has to offer.
