When and where is this wedding affair?

Answer

Our wedding is on October 12, 2024. Doors open at the venue at 4 PM, with the ceremony to begin promptly at 4:30 PM. The ceremony and reception will take place at Hidden Creek Estates, 13276 White School Rd, Roscoe, IL 61073.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We will be hosting a welcome party (Kick Off Night) open to all guests who are able to join us on Friday, October 11, at 7 PM at Grand Avenue Pub, 132 W Grand Ave, Beloit, WI 53511. Transportation will not be provided.

Where should I stay?

Answer

We recommend guests stay in Beloit, Wisconsin, which is located approx. 10 minutes from the venue. Should you plan to stay overnight (recommended), we suggest you book at one of the three hotels we have room blocked rates with including Hotel Goodwin, Ironworks Hotel Beloit, and Best Western Legacy Inn & Suites Beloit-South Beloit. You can find more information, including the discounted room rate codes, listed on the 'TRAVEL & HOTEL' tab.

What are the suggested hotel check-in times? Can I request an earlier check-in time?

Answer

*Note the doors open at the venue at 4 PM and the ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM. The wedding shuttle will begin first round of pick-ups at approx. 2:30-3PM. The check-in time for Hotel Goodwin, Ironworks Hotel, and Best Western Hotel is 3 PM. To request an earlier check-in at Hotel Goodwin and Ironworks Hotel, you have to call on the DAY OF your reservation to request an earlier check-in. If you are arriving at a hotel on Saturday, Oct 12, we recommend you request an earlier check-in.

How do I get to Beloit, Wisconsin?

Answer

You should plan to arrive and stay in Beloit Wisconsin for your hotel. The wedding venue is Hidden Creek Estates, approx. 10 minutes from downtown Beloit. If you're coming from outside Illinois, O'Hare and Milwaukee Mitchell are the best airports. You will have to coordinate ground travel if flying, renting a car is recommended. Question

How do I get to the wedding (parking/Transporation)?

Answer

We will offer complimentary shuttles that will make a trip to all 3 hotel options listed on the 'TRAVEL & HOTEL' tab. Shuttles will begin on Saturday in the early afternoon. And will take attendees home from Hidden Creek Estates. A more detailed schedule of the shuttle pick-up and drop-off times will be posted closer to the event date. If you're driving, there is a sizable parking lot at the venue.

Will there be Transporation provided to and from the hotels and venue?

Answer

Yes! The exact shuttle bus schedule will be announced closer to the wedding date, but the first and second round of hotel picks up are planned to between 2:30 and 3:30 PM. There will be 2 rounds of pick up and drop off to the venue and 3 rounds of pick up and drop offs back to the hotels toward the end of the evening. There will be a 33-passenger coach bus that will pick guests up from the suggested hotels to the venue.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We want people to dress vintage, funky, elegant, and colorful. Please REFRAIN from wearing BLACK, WHITE, NUDE/BEIGE. Colors we prefer are: purples, browns, reds, oranges, & greens. You can never go wrong with a funky pattern and a statement shoe! See more information and attire suggestions on the 'ATTIRE RECOMMENDATIONS' tab.

Will the wedding be outdoors or indoors?

Answer

Both! The ceremony will be near a pond and grotto under bending trees. It's October, so you may want to plan to have layers. The reception will be inside a tent that has heating. There will be bonfires with blankets for you to enjoy. The property has many indoor and outdoor seating to suite your preference. The entire night will take place at the same location.

Do I need to pick a dinner plate?

Answer

Nope. We will have a pizza bar where you can pick out whatever you like! Late night will include burgers and fries. If you have any dietary needs/restrictions, we ask that you let us know via your RSVP form.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to the intimacy of the venue, we are unable to extend invites for plus ones, unless otherwise specified. We are only able to accommodate guests explicitly named on your invitation.

We ask that guests RSVP via the 'RSVP' tab by August 16, 2024.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Due to the intimacy of the venue, we are unable to extend invites for plus ones or children (under the age of 18), unless otherwise specified. We are only able to accommodate guests explicitly named on your invitation.
