Sean and Megan met through a "Referral" as Megan tells her friends and family. Their close friend Alysha Winkelman (and Kyle Winkelman) texted both Megan and Sean separately saying I have this cute friend you have to meet! So, Sean drove from Madison, WI to St. Paul, MN to take Megan out for dinner and drinks! The two of them hit off right away! They continued chatting and facetiming getting to know each other over the next month. Then Christmas rolled around, and Sean was back visiting his Parents and Sister and asked to take Megan on another date. And although Megan was very excited to see Sean again in person, she had made plans with her family to get together after Christmas. So, she told Sean the only way he could see her again is if he joined her and met his family! So that is exactly what he did! He joined Megan and her family at her Aunt Carol and Uncle Bill's house for happy hour and games. Megan's family instantly loved him! Including Megan's cousin, Anabella who thought she whispered but in fact loudly said I want to be their flower girl when they get married! Megan's face quickly turned red in embarrassment and later found out Sean did not hear and would not be scared away by Megan and her loving family. As they celebrate their big day, Megan & Sean have Miss Anabella as one of their flower girls. Their other flower girls are Sadie (Megan's cousin) and Sadie (Sean and Megan's friends' daughter) Megan and Sean dated for 7 months before Sean made his move back to Minnesota to be with Megan. Megan and Sean share an adorable dog named Winnie. They got engaged December 16th, 2023! The two of them excited to celebrate their love and marriage on August 30th, 2024 surrounded by their family and friends!
