Andrea and RJ met when in January of 2010, when they were just 15, in Pre-AP World History. They didn't think much of each other for a few months and didn't even realize until spring break that we were also in the same English class as well. Later, RJ realized Andrea was easy to mess with - giving him his favorite hobby for the past decade.
Sophomore year of high school, RJ randomly texted a bunch of people a Psych quote' "Gus, don't be the one game at Chuck E Cheese that isn't broken." This lead to an actual conversation and eventually a friendship. Finally, in April 2011, RJ stopped Andrea on her way to Spanish class and asked her out. She hesitantly said "sure". And, since this is high school, they were now officially boyfriend and girlfriend.
After 7 years and 364 days of dating, RJ told Andrea to plan to be out from 9am to midnight and to have 3 outfits prepared. To celebrate their anniversary, RJ had planned 8 dates for 8 years: 1. A visit with friends to a cat cafe 2. Seeing Avenger's "Endgame." 3. An escape room (and yes, they escaped) 4. A walk through the park with Andrea's parents and dogs. 5. A fancy dinner 6. A rooftop bar at sunset. - Here, RJ and Andrea went to take a picture with the Atlanta skyline behind them. There, RJ got down on one knee....you know the rest. 7. A ride on Atlanta's SkyView Ferris Wheel overlooking Centennial Olympic Park. 8. And finally, a midnight picnic by Morgan Falls
We were ready to say, "I Do", but 2020 had other plans. Luckily, some things are worth the wait. We can't wait to finally celebrate with our loved ones in October 2021.
