A mutual friend introduced us at an event. After the quick introduction, Richard (a.k.a. Blaq) made a comment about my thighs! "Excuse me sir" was my first thought ... "I'm insulted" was my second. Blaq received an eye roll and no response. Later in the evening.... I noticed Blaq with others and hear all this laughter... this guy is a true jokester, he had everyone in tears. I liked that! Blaq found me soon after he apologized for early comment and he also made me laugh. We soon became friends on social media and with one post Blaq made regarding Port Gibson MS and the Diamond Lounge (both places have a special place in my heart) our friendship turned into something more... and as they say the rest is HISTORY!
