Kierra and Derald's love story began in 2021 on Tinder, where a swipe led to sparks. Their first date—brunch and an art show in Indianapolis—was the perfect stage for their creative chemistry. Kierra, a talented artist, and Derald, a charismatic DJ, were instantly drawn to each other's passion and artistry, and from that moment, they were inseparable. Not long after, life took them in different directions—Derald moved back to Elkhart to grow his business, DG Visionaries, while Kierra stayed in Indy, flourishing in her art career. Despite the distance, their bond only deepened. Derald visited every week to cheer Kierra on at her art shows, and Kierra hit the road to support Derald at weddings and events across the Midwest. Three years of long-distance devotion later, Derald proposed in the summer of 2024. They moved back to Indianapolis together, settling into a cozy home in the artsy Fountain Square neighborhood.
