How’d we meet
We swiped right! After exchanging messages on a dating app during the Covid lockdown, we braved the masked world for an outdoor date at City Tacos in La Mesa. Once Rizzo kissed me on the (second) train car, the rest was history!
Engagement Story
On our way to dinner and a show, Rizzo surprised me with a “quick” stop through the Japanese Friendship Garden in Balboa Park. After waiting for multiple people to take pictures, it was our turn for a photo on the garden's beautiful bridge, which made the perfect backdrop for an important question... After much gushing, I said fuck yes!

The wedding is over an hour east of San Diego. There are no Ubers or Lyft available in the area and we please ask you to make arrangements for sober travel back to the city or take advantage of an overnight stay at a nearby hotel or Airbnb.

When should I RSVP by?
Answer
Please RSVP by Friday, August 9th. We will need to provide a head count for the event and will not be able to accommodate late responses.

Is there a dress code?

We kindly request you dress in cocktail or formal attire. Think Folklore, Alli’s version. No jeans or ballcaps, please.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
Although there will be children present in the ceremony, we kindly ask you leave your children at home with a sitter or friendly dog.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

There will be valet provided on the property provided by the couple.

Food will be served family style. If you have special dietary needs, please contact the bride or groom directly.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Please arrive at 4:00 PM to accommodate for valet service. Guests will be ushered into the lodge until the site is ready for seating. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30.

We are keeping this event as an intimate celebration with our closest friends and family. Unless specifically listed on your invitation, please do not bring a plus one.

Yes! The first 4 hours will be open to beer, wine, hard seltzer and two signature cocktails. No shots. And please, no drunk bastards. You will be asked to leave.
