Once upon a time, I was working at a pizzeria. George stumbled into our shop and locked eyes with me for the first time. The tension was high. He walked up to me nervously, took a deep breath and asked, "are you hiring?" After months of me badgering him at work, George finally asked me to hang out. Neither of us looking were for anything serious. We quickly went from no commitments to full on relationship. Our romance grew from innocent board games to awkward beach trips. Seven months later and he finally told me he loved me. From that point on, I was absolutely smitten. Months turned into a year, and a year quickly turned into three. I can't it explain it, but somehow I knew George was meant to be my husband one day. The only problem was he made it very clear, marriage wasn't something he was interested in any time soon. But boy - did he have me fooled. On October 1, 2022, George planned a birthday trip for me to the most magical kingdom of all. He invited a small group of our friends to join in on the celebration. We arrived to Magic Kingdom sometime in the early afternoon and we whisked down Main Street U.S.A. to watch the parade together in front of the castle. The crowd cleared and George knelt down on one knee. I was frozen. He pulled a small box out of his pocket looked up at me and said, "are you hiring?" Wait. Hold on, that's not right. He had me so well fooled I didn't see it coming. It was the fairytale proposal I'd always dreamed of! Now, we're about to embark on our biggest adventure yet as husband and wife.
