Paul and Anmol first met during their first week starting their new corporate life. Paul Hansen was from a small town in Maine, Cape Elizabeth. Anmol Ahluwalia was from a big city in California, Los Angeles. While geographically from opposite ends & backgrounds, they had an instant connection.
With their travel based jobs, Paul and Anmol spent their first year together taking romantic business trips all over the US. While their relationship began long distance, Paul would plan extended work trips to LA to be with her. After building their lives together, they were ready for the next chapter. On April 30th 2022, Paul surprised Anmol with a trip to LA and proposed to her on Malibu beach!

At the Sikh wedding ceremony both men and women will be required to cover their head. The temple will provide head coverings, but can get limited. Ladies bring a shawl if you can to cover your head. Additionally, the temple requires everyone remove their shoes upon entry. Bring socks! There are plenty of shelves where your shoes can be stowed.
Paul and Anmol will officially be married and its time to party again! It will begin with cocktails, hor devours, followed by dinner in the evening. It's a night to celebrate and dance. Just be sure to bring your dancing heels!
For the religious Wedding Ceremony at the Sikh temple, formal and conservative attire is required. Our guests will be required to sit on the floor during the duration of the ceremony, so please wear pants or a dress that would allow you to do so comfortably. For the Sangeet and Reception, you don't have to be so cautious. I recommend women wear long formal gowns, and men wear suits. Otherwise, it will be similar to any other wedding reception! If you are interested in wearing an Indian outfit, feel free to contact the Bride and Groom!!
