We met through a mutual friend that we both went to high school with. Our friend and I were walking home from school when he pulled up next to us in his white Mustang and asked if we wanted a ride home. Of course I was nervous, but knowing that our friend knew him made me feel better, so we hopped in. It did not take long until he asked me to go to a movie. We saw "Ouija" on Halloween night, following the movie he asked me to be his girlfriend. Tommy did not believe me when I said "yes" so he asked me three different times to be sure I wasn't messing with him. From that night forward, it has been a crazy love story!

On a random Thursday night Tommy proposed to me in our kitchen. I had just got home from work, and did not even get the chance to take my coat off. My hair was in a messy bun, nails were not done, and I was fresh out of the classroom after a long day. We were talking about what to have for dinner and our plan for that night, when he suddenly dropped down on one knee and asked me to be his wife! I was so surprised that I just stared at him for a second. After coming to the realization that it was really happening I of course said yes and was so over joyed! We celebrated that night by going our to dinner to "North and South" and calling all of our family and friends
