We met in the middle of the year 2020 during Covid times through an online dating app: Bumble. Our first date was at Agaves in Santa Barbara. Throughout the entire dinner, there was a persistent bee flying around us and landing on our table. After our dinner, we went on a walk at the Mission Rose Garden. Again, there was a bee flying around us the entire time. Every time we are out and about and see a bee, it reminds us of how we first met.

It happened on a trip to Las Vegas during our birthday week. We made our way to The Bellagio to watch the fountain show. As soon as the show was over, Chris got down on one knee and popped the question in front of an entire crowd.
