The First Date
Our story began online, we had started chatting a couple months prior and decided to meet at a boardgame cafe. We played a game called "Name 5" where you name 5 items in a category, and we consistently could only name 2! We had a great time, and we both showed our adventurous side by having octopus together at dinner. We both left that night, knowing we had a connection.
The Proposal
I was in Antigua spending time with my family without Akini, as he was in Hawaii for work and couldn't join me due to the quick turnaround time. I was at my grandmother's house minding my own business, and to my surprise, he comes walking through the door. I was then dealing with the shock of seeing him and wondering how he even got there. Next thing I know, he's down on one knee and is proposing! I was so shocked, but then I finally remembered to say YES, and we were engaged. We're so excited to celebrate our new chapter with you. See you in Antigua!

NO! Unless you have an international coverage plan you will not be able to text/call anyone while on island. You will be able to communicate over Wi-Fi using apps such as WhatsApp.
