Stacie and Nina met through our mutual friend Olivia! As Stacie continued to show up to our group events, she quickly became a staple in our friend circle. Stacie has become one of Nina's best friends and their friendship has organically evolved over the years. She is truly a perfect combination between witty, sarcastic, sweet and caring. Stacie also furthered her education in the dental industry by becoming a certified/registered dental assistant while also teaching yoga part-time. She and her husband Shane have been together 10 years next October.
Erinn Coventry

Erinn and Nina met organically through mutual friends over more than a decade ago. Erinn is a Bay Area native, but now lives in Denver, CO with her partner Ty. She and Nina always get together when she's in town visiting. Fun Fact: The night after Nina met Pete, she met up with Erinn the following day and could not stop talking about how excited she was meet such a cute guy! Erinn has always been a supportive, loving and loyal friend.

Erika and Nina also met through Olivia at one of Olivia's birthday weekends! Over the past 10 years, their friendship has continued to blossom effortlessly. They share a bond over spirituality and showing up to have a good time, always going with the flow of things! Erika is married and has two little girls. She is also a published author and is an avid wine connoisseur!

Melanie is the youngest sister of Pete. She is also a big Backstreet Boys fan just like Nina. They even went to Vegas to meet the Backstreet Boys together... What an experience that was! Fun Fact: Melanie has had Nina under phone contact list as 'Nina Markovina' since Day 1!
Margaret Rajkovich

Margaret is the Kuma to Nina. She is also the wife of Pete's older cousin David. They have two little boys and live in Boston, MA. As Margaret and Nina have gotten to know each other at family gatherings over the years, they have built a kinship being two gals who married into this wonderful family. Margaret always keeps things light and real, something that Nina can appreciate.
Sarah Markovina Schriener

Sarah is the second youngest sister of Pete. She is married to Dave Schriener who is also a groomsman. Sarah met Dave randomly at a mutual friend's party and soon thereafter began dating. Sarah didn't know at the time that Dave was a close friend of Pete's! Long story short, as one of Sarah's older brothers, Pete approved of this union and in fact was thrilled to know that Dave was dating his sister. Sarah and Dave hit it off instantly and now have been married since 2010. Sarah is sweet, kind hearted and has such an endearing laugh!
Olivia Tucker

Olivia is Nina's longest friend. They have known each other since high school. Even though there is a 4.5 year age gap, they became instant friends as young teenagers and bonded quickly over their unique background and upbringing. After high school, they lost touch for about 10 years, but ended up reconnecting in Nina's late 20s. They have remained best friends throughout the years. Olivia has a blended family of four teenagers and is also a new bride as of this August! Fun Fact: Olivia was there the night Nina met Pete!
Jeremiah Blomberg
Groomsman
Jeremiah and Pete met prior to Pete's freshman year of high school and have been friends ever since. Jeremiah is Pete's oldest friend, were in their first band together (Raze), and although they do not live close, they have lost no time and always make time to see each other when in the vicinity. Jeremiah is a pilot and achieved Captain status at a young age, while being employed with a major air freight company. He is married and has 3 girls.
Steven Bogatinoff

Steve and Pete met about 6 years ago at ClubSport and became close friends, playing golf together (is part of what has infamously become known as 'The Golf Crew’) and spending time with friends and family. Steve owns a successful limo service, with the Golden State Warriors as his main client. He has two daughters who share his depth of character and class.
Al Coleman
Groomsman
Al and Pete met about 6 years ago at ClubSport as Personal Trainers. Soon they'd realize they both hailed from their hometown, Milwaukee. A unique friendship and bond was created, leading to training together during the pandemic and playing golf to this day and is part of what has infamously become known as 'The Golf Crew.' Al is on the last leg of achieving his Doctorate along with running multiple other successful businesses.
Jason Grosse

Jason and Pete met in San Francisco sometime in 2017. They became friends, finding close bonds in humor, literature, and cinema, along with good music. He is an accomplished Executive in business, and is expecting his first child, after recently being married. Although Jason now lives in Austin, TX, he maintains a very close friendship with Pete.
Drew Johnson

Drew and Pete met six years ago as Personal Trainers at ClubSport and quickly became close friends, playing golf (is part of what has infamously become known as 'The Golf Crew’) and spending time together with friends and family. Drew runs a successful Personal Training business and balances his work schedule with priority to his family. Drew is married and has three boys.
David Lindberg

The serbian word 'Stari Svat' means Wise Man and is the second witness to Peter and Nina's union. David is Peter's Uncle, his father’s sister’s husband. He has been a part of Peter's life since birth, looking after him as one of his own and showcasing a generous, loving and successful life. He has taught Peter many things, namely how you can be independently successful while building a family and putting them first.
Nicholas Markovina
Best Man
Nicholas is Pete's son. Heading into his senior year at Shenandoah University, where he sits as the Student Government President, as well was tasked to create and run an all-encompassing mental health program to be available for all athletes across the campus. He genuinely enjoys his life and shows that in the way he carries himself. He's done Pete the honor of being his Best Man.
David Rajkovich
Kum
The serbian word 'Kum' means an important figure in the couple's lives and acts as a witness and spiritual advisor to protect the marriage. David is Peter's mom's sisters son. He's been a part of Peter's life from birth, there for every twist and turn and now stand for Peter and Nina's union. David has been and still is a someone Peter looks up to for advice as well as an example of what you can be in this world.
Dave Schriener

Pete met Dave in his junior year of high school, and they became close friends. 5 years removed, while living in different states, he randomly met Pete's younger sister Sarah, ended up getting married and now Dave is Pete's brother-in-law. Dave has reached the status of Master Craftsman Painter and loves to fish, teaching his nephews and nieces with Uncle Dave care and style.
Matt Shapiro
Groomsman
Pete met Matt in a gym in San Francisco back in 2010. Matt owned the Elbo Room, San Francisco (a Legacy Business) and Elbo Room Jack London, CA. He became Pete's first and closest friend upon moving to San Francisco. He moved to Germany late this past year. Matt is one of the most genuine, kindest, and cool people you may come across.

Kids ARE welcome to the Ceremony, but we kindly ask to join us for an evening of adult festivities and merriment. To ensure a serene ambiance, our celebration will be kid-free. However, we have arranged as a courtesy to all the parents professional child care at Mr. & Mrs. Markovina’s house for all the children while mom and dad enjoy an evening out!
