1. We recognize most guests will be traveling from other states. If you cannot make the trip we completely understand and would just appreciate an early heads up so we can plan our limited headcount accordingly. 2. Cincinnati hosts the world’s second largest Oktoberfest every year, only behind Munich! It’s one of our favorite events and it’s the weekend of our wedding. I hope our guests get to enjoy some Polka, Schnitzel and beer but PLEASE BE AWARE that hotel availability will get tight closer to the event date!

Things To Do

Oktoberfest Zinzinnati

Sawyer Point Park, Cincinnati, OH 45202

This is one of our all-time favorite events in Cincinnati each year. Our Oktoberfest is the second largest in the world behind Munich. They just moved the event down to a park along the river, which will make it even more pleasant. You'll enjoy German food, German Beer and authentic live German music across multiple stages from 11am-11pm each day. Hoping to see you all in the iconic chicken hats catching the world's largest chicken dance.

Bourbon!

Tasting- head just across the river to Kentucky at Newberry Bros. Coffee, Rich’s Proper, or Libby’s Southern Kitchen Hunting- my spot is the Kroger in Hyde Park. They get their deliveries Saturday morning and it’s pretty reasonable to expect Weller Special Reserve or Antique plus a few others like Blantons if you’re lucky. Liquor store opens at 9 on Sat

FAQs

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

While you're welcome to enjoy our city and make a weekend out of our event with whomever you'd please, the wedding events of the weekend have strict headcount limits. We cannot accommodate guests outside who is listed on your invitation.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

With few exceptions, we will not be welcoming the little ones. Enjoy the date night away from the kids!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking at the ceremony & reception venue is free and widely available. Parking downtown near the hotels and welcome event is fairly limited as it's in a city center, though there are decks and valets available.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! Please indicate if you will use the transportation on your RSVP so we ensure we have room for everyone
