Please feel free to book your stay for the night of our wedding. We will have a brunch at the venue for all of our guests the morning after. A hotel block of 30 rooms will be open until August 24th. After this date, rooms not booked will be open to the public. The Engleside Inn and Restaurant
The Engleside Inn is an another hotel option located directly across from our venue! This hotel does not have a minimum stay (you are able to book for just one night). We do not have a room block for this hotel, but feel free to explore this as an option as well. As of 8/21, there are still rooms available. Windward at the Beach
While we do not have a room block at Windward, it is another great place to stay, and is just a couple of blocks from our venue. Being within walking distance is a plus! Phone: 609-492-4468

Coral Seas Oceanfront Motel
As of 8/21, there are still rooms available at the Coral Seas. Please note there is a minimum 2-night stay for this hotel! If you are only staying on the island for the night of the hotel, it is recommended you book a room at the Engleside Inn or The Sea Shell. Phone: 609-492-1141

If you are planning on coming down to LBI with a group of people, we suggest looking into a rental! If you are considering this option, we recommend booking sooner rather than later as there are many popular events that occur on the island during the weekends in October. Call at 609-848-8831

LBI Merchant's Mart & Chowder Cook Off
Our wedding weekend will be taking place during Beach Haven's Merchant Mart (10/4) and Chowder Cook-Off (10/4 & 10/5). Admission to this event is free on Saturday, 10/4 but not Sunday. It is an event worth visiting for sure! There will be various local vendors as well as beer/wine/seltzer bars and music. It is a great way to spend your Saturday if you are coming down to the island early. Click on the URL for more information.

Question
What is the dress code for the ceremony and reception?
Answer
Please be mindful that although this is a beach wedding, it will be breezy and slightly cool in the beginning of October! We recommend formal cocktail and semi-formal attire.

What time should I get there?
Answer
Please give yourselves ample time to get down to the island on Sunday. If you are staying over Sunday night, double check with your hotel about your check-in time. We recommend arriving to the venue no later than 3:45 to assure you have plenty of time to find parking and grab yourself a seat at the ceremony.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?
Answer
Absolutely please let either of us know if you have a food allergy! We are able to let the venue know ahead of time and they will reach out to you to go over some options for you.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
The Sea Shell does have a parking lot and there are also parking spots across the street and close by surrounding areas. There is an event taking place on the island that seem weekend (known as Chowder Fest/Chowder Cook Off) so we do recommend arriving early enough to secure a parking spot.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?
Answer
We will be having a brunch event hosted from 8-11 at our venue the morning after the wedding. This is not a formal event and can be drop in just to grab something to eat before you head back home. If you rsvped no to the brunch but have changed your mind, you are more than welcome as there is no designated headcount.

Not to worry! Our venue and wedding planners have a very well executed contingency plan. The ceremony won't be in the rain 😊
