This is a great location for good food, shopping, and seeing a movie! We love this area and the surrounding shopping centers as well. Some restaurant options that we like are BJ's Brewhouse, Uncle Julio's, and Nando's. For quicker options some of our go to's are Panera, Potbelly Sandwiches, and Qdoba. Most of the time you can find us visiting the Target or Starbucks. (shocker we know)
In the Virginia Gateway shopping center, is this cute coffee and wine bar. We love going here to grab quick vanilla latte or a glass of wine. They have many different pastry and small plate options as well. If you are a person who needs their morning coffee and likes trying local coffee shops this is an option worth trying out! Of course, there is also Starbucks around the corner as well if you prefer that!
This is a local, fresh, natural marketplace where Marc and I thoroughly enjoy the breakfast and lunch options they serve. The Lavender Lemonade is fantastic and you can't go wrong with any of their sandwiches as well!
Now, you know we couldn't leave anyone hanging without a sweet treat! Once you're done at Hidden Julles head over to Cupcake Heaven to pick up you & yours a delicious cupcake. This is our favorite cupcake shop around.
Love exploring cute boutique shops when you visit a new area? This is one of our favorite boutique shops to stop in to browse also, down the road from both Hidden Julles and Cupcake Heaven. So, once you're full you can get your shopping on!
The main road in Alexis' hometown features many fun spots including restaurants and shopping such as Denim & Pearl's, Studio Luxe Boutique, and Red Truck Rural Bakery.
If you love history and enjoy the outdoors this is a great place to walk around!
