House Or Rental
We booked a boat that sleeps 12 from the Wahweap Marina. After launching on Wednesday, we don't plan on returning to the marina until Sunday. Let us know if you are having a hard time coordinating with others and/or finding a spot on a boat. We may have room on ours. Click the "View" button below. It's a link to the website where you can rent a houseboat. Houseboat availability is going fast, the sooner you reserve, the better!
8:00 am - 11:45 pm
We recommend getting into Page on Tuesday, the 21st to allow time for travel from the airport and shopping for supplies for next 5 days on the water.
8:00 am - 10:00 am
We plan to spend the week relaxing, hiking, swimming, dancing, exploring the desert and all Lake Powell has to offer with house boats as our base of operation. Ned and Nat will launch in the AM on the 22nd. If you are on a separate boat, launching is recommended this day as well.

Ned and Nat will get married on land, in a remote and magical location along the shores of the Lake. We will anchor our boats and gather.

There could be up to 3 separate houseboats and each will have it's own food plan/needs. Think cabin weekend/camping trip for food planning. There is a Safeway grocery store in Page. Be sure to plan enough time to shop for supplies prior to launching. We recommend getting in to page the day before your rental period starts to ensure there is enough time to get everything situated for the week! Ned and Nat will provide a post ceremony brunch.
Glen Canyon National Recreation Area currently charges $30 per week per passenger vehicle. You can purchase a pass at the link below ahead of time or purchase one day of. https://www.nps.gov/glca/planyourvisit/fees.htm
Ned and Nat will have a bunch of personal floaties for sharing but it may be worth considering renting additional water toys. There are several narrow slot canyons that are only accessible via paddle board, kayak, or jetski.
Lake Powell is in the desert and temps can vary but you can expect days in the 80's and nights in the 60's. Rain is rare this time of year and it's pretty darn beautiful most of the time. Water temps can be on the chillier end as May is still considered early season but it will be refreshing in the hot desert sun.
We'll post our registry here when we're finished building it. Thank you in advance!
