Nadine and Gabriel’s love story is one of those “meant to be” moments that took a while to fall into place. Their journey started long before Gabriel slid into Nadine’s DMs after seeing a picture of her on the Disneyland tea cups. They first crossed paths in 2008, but life kept them on separate tracks—though their circles kept overlapping in ways they wouldn’t fully realize until much later. Both big sports fans, they moved in the same circles for years. In fact, they even lived down the street from each other for quite a while without knowing it! Everything finally clicked in 2019 when they officially started their relationship, and the rest is history. Gabriel was instantly drawn to Nadine’s beautiful smile, but as he got to know her, he fell even harder for her kind heart and the way she shows so much love and compassion for others. For Nadine, it was Gabriel’s passion for coaching football and his incredible dedication to the people he loves that won her over. Fast forward to April 17, 2024, and the most amazing milestone of their story so far: Gabriel’s proposal at Punalu‘u Beach, Hawaii. This stunning black sand beach was the perfect setting for the moment they’d been dreaming of. Gabriel went all out, creating a trail of seashells leading to the ocean and planning every detail with Nadine in mind. As Nadine followed the trail, she stopped halfway to soak it all in. Surrounded by their closest loved ones, she felt a wave of gratitude and realized she was quite literally walking toward her future with the love of her life. Gabriel had picked the spot based on their talks about the future, even choosing a location with a good chance of spotting sea turtles—Nadine’s favorite animal. Sure enough, after the emotional proposal and countless photos, two turtles appeared on the shore. To Nadine and Gabriel, it felt like a sign of their life together: steady, enduring, and full of meaning. From their early encounters to that unforgettable moment in Hawaii, Nadine and Gabriel’s story has been one of patience, shared passions, and a deep connection. Now, they’re ready to dive into the next chapter—forever together.
