Our story begins with living under the same roof of a placed called Bancroft Hall. Despite both attending the United States Naval Academy for four years, our paths never crossed until after graduating. Upon graduation we were selected to become Navy Pilots, which ultimately led us to the white sandy beaches of Pensacola, FL. Due to COVID our first interaction was virtual, but quickly led to our first date. We had a picnic on a pier over the water and bonded over our love for travel and the gym. After the first date we were practically inseparable...until The Navy decided to move Myles to Corpus Christi, TX on a week’s notice. Neither of us were ready to give up so we decided to make the distance work. The next year of long distance was challenging, but it really solidified and strengthened our relationship, so much so that we got engaged in November of 2021. Since then we have both had career shifts, and moved to Norfolk, VA for our first tour in the Navy. Camila is now a Public Affairs Officer and Myles is a Meteorology and Oceanography Officer. Since moving to Virginia, we enjoy our free time with camping trips to Shenandoah National Park, taking Maddox our Great Dane to the park, or catching an Admirals hockey game.
