William and Monica met at the Portland International Airport on April 22nd 2018. Monica was on her way back from a girls trip in Nashville TN, and William was on his way back from Mexico for one of his best friends wedding. They both had a connecting flight in Denver, Colorado, and actually saw each other passing by in the airport with the biggest smiles. In fact - William actually missed his original flight to Portland, had he not missed that flight they probably would have never met. As Monica and her friend boarded the plane to Portland and sat down she then looked up and noticed that William was boarding the same flight and he sat two rows behind them. The whole flight, Monica was ease dropping on Williams conversation with an older lady to see what Williams personality was like. William talked to this sweet older lady the whole entire flight to Portland. Monica thought it was the sweetest thing, and just so genuine. The flight landed in Portland and as Monica got off the flight and started walking to baggage claim she began to purposefully walk slow hoping William would maybe catch up to her.. As she got to baggage claim, she noticed William approaching her and he introduced himself proceeding to tell Monica he just couldn't let her slip away, told her how beautiful she is, asked for her phone number and that's what started it all! It was truly fate that brought them together.
