An impromptu first date with Joel having MLK Jr Day off he was going to bring me a coffee to work at the hospital. After making plans to meet in the lobby of the hospital our surgeries for the day finished and we were all able to leave early. Mollie quickly called Joel to change the plan and meet up nearby for a few Diet Pepsis and hours of conversation❤️

On March 31st we had a dinner date planned for one of our favorite places The Drover! We had a pre cocktail at home of an Old Fashion and a Mojito. We went to dinner and then a couple drinks at The Casual Pint. We came home and turned on music in the kitchen. We sang we chatted and eventually decided to turn in for the night. When we went into the bedroom the engagement ring box was sitting on the dresser opened in front of a photo of the two of us in Hawaii. The rest is history. Since the proposal was after midnight it was actually April 1st (which happens to be our listed anniversary at the golf club we belong to) We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
