Our Story
We first met back in 2013 when we both worked at Martins Grocery store as a cashier and a bagger. We were really great friends and saw each other only when Josh returned home from college for his breaks. We lost touch when I left to start my career in the vet field and Josh was away for school. Then in 2017 when life changed and I was newly single, I had posted on Facebook asking someone to take a girl to the movies, and this is when Josh reached out and asked me out on a date (thanks to some encouragement from a cousin of his). Josh came and got me for our first date and it was as if no time had passed between us and I knew this one was a good one. Josh being the romantic man he is, took me to his parents house where we climbed to the top of the mountain where he then asked me to be his girlfriend and it was all history from there!
The Proposal
October 2022, Josh and I were celebrating our 6 year anniversary a little early at a cabin in WV with GORGEOUS views! Josh and I were out sitting around the campfire just relaxing away after a day of hiking in the mountains and he was prepping dinner. I had been sitting in a lawn chair next to the fire and Josh had come over and kneeled next to me (no I didn't think anything was happening at this moment). I looked over at Josh and said "I love you" and he said it back to me.....then he looked at me and asked "how much do you love me?" and I respond back with "a lot...." and then he pulls out the ring from his flannel shirt and asked me "how about FOREVER?" and I cried and said YES!! We started our dating journey at the top of the mountain back home, and what better way to start our forever then at the top of another gorgeous mountain!

Are kids welcome?

While we love our little ones, this will be an adults only celebration! We hope you take this opportunity to treat our wedding day as a night to relax and enjoy! We appreciate you making prior arrangements so you may celebrate with us!🖤

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Our ceremony will begin promptly at 3pm. We are asking our guests to arrive at least 15 minutes early. If you arrive later than the start time, you will be asked to wait to join us in celebrating during cocktail hour. Please try to arrive on time! Thank you!

The RSVP deadline can be found on your invitation. Please be sure to fill it out on time so that we can provide our vendors with the necessary information.

Yes, there are several hotels in the Winchester area that are available. I have them listed under the travel tab on our website.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
We would love to see our family and friends all dressed up for our big day!! Dress code is cocktail/semi-formal attire. This means no jeans, sneakers,boots, or any causal wear.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
If your guest name is listed on your invite or when you RSVP, then yes! Due to limited capacity, we can only allow the people named on your invitation or number in correspondence with your RSVP card. We want to keep the wedding as an intimate event with close family and friends! Thank you for understanding!🖤

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony will be held outside (weather permitting) as well as cocktail hour. Don’t worry, we will have heaters everywhere if it is cold as well as a little area for a fire pit. Reception will be held inside but if the weather is not great, the entire event will be held indoors. So please dress accordingly and watch the weather!

Yes we will have an open bar with signature cocktails as well as beer, wine and other options to choose from. We will also have non alcoholic beverages to choose from with our caterer.
