Mike & I matched on Bumble approximately 456976 years ago. For better or worse, I had just come down with Hand, Foot & Mouth, and was quarantined to my house for 10 days. Life got in the way, then Covid, and we didn't end up meeting. Between then and January 2022, we matched a few more times (seriously) and finally managed to get it together to go on a date early February 2022. I remember seeing his profile the last time and thinking "this guy is so cute, but I feel like an idiot swiping right AGAIN". Gave it one more shot and I'm obviously so glad I did!
We were spending a week at the lake house in Grand Rapids with Mike's family. That morning I said to him, "I don't want to know any details or anything, but do you have a plan as far as proposing?" (subtle, I know). He patiently said yes. That night he was a little odd, asking when dinner would be ready and saying he wanted to go for a sunset boat ride. I figured he was just hungry and wanted some quiet time haha. We went out a little way, then stopped. Mike got on one knee, and I have no idea what he said because I started sobbing. We cried a bunch, watched the sunset, then got to go back in and share the news with everyone!
3:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Garden Attire: Wear sundresses, floral prints, suits in lighter hues, and fun hats and fascinators.
The venue is spread out into a few barns/buildings, so wear something that will be comfortable for walking around, being in the grass outside, and good for whatever weather we end up having!

So many wonderful things to see and do here, and genuinely all of the charm! Sarah grew up here, and her parents still live here. Check out downtown on the St. Croix River, visit our friends at Mabel's in nearby Bayport for coffee and ice cream.
Sarah attended UW - River Falls for both undergraduate and graduate school. A beautiful town with lots of places to walk, eat, and drink!
This is where we live! Super cute downtown, a waterfall, and our farm! Check out The Waterstreet Cafe (super good breakfast and coffee), Tippy Canoes (local meat, great food), Coming Home (boutique and local goods), Treasure Alley (antiques and fun stuff), and The Looking Glass (antiques and ice cream!).
We went here on our first date - and talked until they told us they were closing haha.
2nd date locale - arcade, mini golf, boozy malts. A cool brewery upstairs is full of cards and board games.
We do not expect presents, but we are registered at Target, Amazon and Zola, and we will also happily accept cash to use for Hawaii and/or the farm :)
YES PLEASE
RSVPs should be confirmed by May 1st. Thank you!
Think bright, vibrant spring attired. Jackets and ties totally optional. Wear what you feel best in! The majority of the events will be outside and in barns which are not climate controlled, so please plan accordingly. June in Wisconsin could be anywhere between 50 and 100 haha.
We will be staying at the Radisson in River Falls following the wedding. There are other options in River Falls (15 minutes or so) and many more options in Hudson, Woodbury, Stillwater, or the Twin Cities.
It will be an open bar with beer, wine, hard seltzers, and several non-alcoholic beverages. Please bring cash to tip the bartender if you'd like!
Please enter the first and last name of one member of your party below.
If you're responding for you and a guest (or your family), you'll be able to RSVP for your entire group on the next page.
