How We (Re)Met
We met once when Michelle was 19 and Blake was 21 at a 4th of July party at the Geffens. Michelle and Monica thought both Blake and his brother Brent were kind, smart, fun, wonderful brothers. But it wasn't until eleven years later during November of 2021 that Michelle and Blake reconnected at a Thanksgiving at the Geffens. Blake couldn't help but follow Michelle around the party like a little puppy. Michelle noticed and found it incredibly adorable. She also noticed that Blake told good stories, he was funny, and very handsome. Blake thought Michelle was beautiful and he felt instantly drawn to her. He didn't want to leave her alone. We both discovered we had a shared love and obsession with surfing. We scheduled to wake up early the next morning to work off some of the stuffing and turkey at Palos Verdes Cove. This turned into our first date, which lasted 12 hours. We haven't left each others' sides since then. And we are committing to being by each other's sides forever.
