Andrew planned the perfect proposal on an afternoon walk in Central Park. By coincidence (& unprompted) a professional photographer took cover from the rain under the bridge & captured our moment.
Meet Cute
Once upon a time Michelle was rather disillusioned with dating NYC men and on a whim decided to change her radius to say "Atlanta" when visiting her friend Brooke. It was then that she began chatting with a devastating handsome man named Andrew about the trauma of classic 80s films- most notably the Neverending Story. Fast forward a few weeks of chatting every day and Michelle's plane back from New Orleans was cancelled- low and behold it was rerouted through Atlanta! That's when Andrew- her Uber driver in a silver shining Infiniti- offered to pick her up and drop her at her friends house. Shortly lately they planned a visit where Andrew would "redo" the Big Apple as his previous exposure only involved Midtown. The trip was in a word...magical! By January Andrew had a new job which allowed him to work remotely and a few months later, he picked up his life in Atlanta and moved to NYC. On July 9, 2023 Andrew took Michelle on a walk (in the aptly named bridle path) in Central Park where he proposed.

Unfortunately due to the holiday season, there is no discount code, but please CALL the resort at 1-800-552-5651 rather than book online as they have several rooms set aside in a block as well as multiple options not listed online. You will get the best service by phone as well as complimentary breakfast (it's very good!) There is also a hotel shuttle to take you into town from the hotel. You are not required to book 2 nights, and you can choose to book 1 night if you choose. The Nonantum Resort is about a 90-minute drive from Boston Logan International Airport (BOS). There is also a regional Amtrak Downeaster train service with seasonal stops in nearby town of Wells, Maine.
