A Modern Day Love Story
We had met purely by chance on Tinder during the summer of 2018. The moment we had our first date, we knew we had to keep seeing each other. From escape room dates to drunk winery dates, countless memories have brought us closer together over the years. We have a shared love for cute animals, movies, and endless poking fun with each other. In the summer of 2022 a little shortly after our 4 year anniversary, Mikael proposed on a trip to Paris...the City of Love! He got on one knee in front of the Eiffel Tower and it was the easiest yes. We are so excited for you to join us as we say "I do" at our wedding in October 2023.

Anyone over 21+ is invited to the afterparty, please let the couple know ahead of time. We will start out at The Liberty Tavern at around 9PM to gather our group. We will then head over to Clarendon Ballroom across the street at 10PM to check in with our VIP table. Bottle service and small appetizers will be provided at this location. Please feel free to venmo/Zelle the newlyweds to help with bottle service costs. HOWEVER, it is not a requirement and would love to see you there regardless to dance the night away with us!

Please plan on arriving early as the doors will close at 10am when the ceremony begins. The wedding will last from 10am to 4pm.

The wedding will be taking place at the Fairfax Marriot at Fair Oaks. 11787 Lee Jackson Memorial Hwy, Fairfax, VA 22033 There is ample on-site parking and the entire event will take place indoors.

Cocktail/formal attire. No such thing as overdressed! (No jeans, sneakers, casual-wear)

Can I bring a plus 1/children?
Answer
Only guests who are invited will be listed on the invite. Please do not bring another guest that is not printed on the invite. Feel free to contact the couple directly if you have any questions or concerns regarding guest invites.

If you choose to bless us with a gift, there will be a card box and gift table at the location. Please check our registry for any gift ideas.

Light snacks and refreshments will be served during the cocktail hour. Vegetarian selections available. Lunch reception will be buffet style. Food to be served includes: steak, salmon, mashed potatoes, orzo pasta, salads, and rolls. If you need a vegetarian option, please let the couple know.

An open bar for beer and wine will be provided.

We will be hosting a "phone-free" ceremony so that the couple and guests can be fully immersed. Pictures can be taken and uploaded freely after the ceremony :)

A short and sweet Ceremony followed by a Cocktail Hour and Lunch Reception.

There will be an after party later in the evening, time and location TBD. Location will be held at a nightclub/bar so anyone 21+ is welcome to join. RSVP's are needed beforehand. Uber vouchers will be available.
