Wesley and I met online through a dating app, we started talking on December 20,2022 and we had our first phone call on December 22,2022 and we talked for hours. It truly was like we had known each other for a long time, we had our first date on December 24,2022 at Waffle House in Brunswick Georgia. Over the course of the next two weeks we hung out in either Brunswick or Jacksonville Beach and on January 14,2023 Wesley asked me Micaela to be his girlfriend. Over the course of the next few months, we dated long distance, I met his family and we made a trip to Michigan for Wesley to meet my parents and some of the my family. Then it came time for my internship I was doing to be done and I had praying whether to stay in Jacksonville or move back home to Michigan or move to Brunswick. After much prayer, I accepted a teaching position and moved to Brunswick on July 15,2023, saying goodbye to long distance! Over the next few months little did I know that Wesley was planning the sweetest proposal with our friends on Jekyll Island to take place on December 16,2023. Here we are now in May 2024 getting ready to get married on July 20,2024. A LOT has happened in our personal lives, but I am so grateful God brought Wesley and I together and I can't wait to spend forever with him and I can't wait to see how we continue doing ministry together!
