Brian proposed to Meghan on the anniversary of their first date. He recreated the night by taking her to the Union Pacific Salt River Bridge at Tempe Town Lake. The same spot where they sat and talked for hours that first night to catch up on life. However, this time was a little different than the first. They sat and reminisced about their relationship and what they saw for the future and by the end of the night they were engaged!

Brian and Meghan have a long history. They met at Sequoia Pathway Academy where they both attended elementary school. Although not in the same class, they often saw each other at recess or when their classes would blend for activities. After 5th grade they both switched schools and almost forgot about each other, until 2018. Meghan started working at the Copper Sky aquatics center where she ran into Brian who had been working there for a few years. They rekindled their friendship and over the next 2 years became very close. In 2020 Brian quit working at the pool and they slowly had a falling out. Brian would still reach out to Meghan every few months to check in but nothing more than a few texts. In 2022, Meghan decided to be the one to reach out and a few days later Brian asked her out for their first date.
