Hinge really lives up to their slogan as "the dating app meant to be deleted" because that's how God placed us together. The first time we talked on the phone, it was non-stop laughter. Our first date at the Van Gogh Exhibit was magical. By happenstance, it was Van Gogh's birthday, and we got free cake. Afterwards, we talked for hours in an Olive Garden parking lot . (You will notice Van Gogh's "Starry Night" and "Sunflowers" incorporated into our wedding theme.) Through the ups and downs, we have been committed to growing together in God. Now, as we celebrate our marriage, we are excited to begin the next chapter of our love story worshipping alongside all of you. "A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. A cord of three strands is not easily broken." - Ecclesiastes 4:12
3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Our dress code is dressy-casual to semi-formal attire. No jeans, please.
You are welcome to sit on any side of the aisle, but leave no empty seats. We have a packed house! We will be having an unplugged (phone-free) service so as to not distract from the sanctity of the ceremony. We will be able to share the moments our photographer captures, so no need to worry about snapping photos. Our faith is the foundation of our relationship, and we will be praising God together through song. Feel free to participate if you feel comfortable, but there is no pressure to sing along if you would prefer not to.
4:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Following the ceremony, while the bridal party takes photos, there will be a few light bites to eat at the reception venue before the reception officially begins. See the FAQs section for parking information.
5:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Come ready to dance and experience a blend of Mexican and American traditions! A build-your-own taco bar from Mi Pueblo Mexican Restaurant will be provided with options ranging from mild to spicy. We will have a traditional Mexican piñata as well as coloring pages available for children (and childlike souls). See the FAQs section for parking information.

If you're responding for you and a guest (or your family), you'll be able to RSVP for your entire group on the next page.
Best Man
Michael is Amos's older brother, built-in best friend, and partner-in-crime. He is the one with no qualms about thoroughly vetting anyone who is new to the group, including Megan. Luckily, he seems to approve.
Co-Maid of Honor
Fate put Megan and Olivia together in the random roommate selection their freshman year at GVSU, and they have been friends since. Olivia is Megan's unpaid emotional support therapist.
Co-Maid of Honor
Megan met Lauren through mutual friends at GVSU, and they roomed together for 3 years. Lauren has always been there for Megan through the good and bad.
Groomsman
Adam is Amos's second oldest brother and the head of the Acosta family bread delivery clan. Adam taught Amos everything he knows about football and the Lions.
Bridesmaid
Ariel is Amos's cousin, but has become a wonderful friend to Megan. Megan and Amos love soaking up the sun or laughing during game nights with Ariel and her pups!
Groomsman
Josh is Amos's oldest brother and the original Acosta son jokester. Josh is our family's first call for fixing anything from furnaces to hot water heaters.
Bridesmaid
Megan and Isabella met at GVSU through Olivia and Corinne, and had many teaching courses together. Isabella has been Megan's thrifting buddy and curriculum queen for the past five years.
Groomsman
Romeo is Amos's long-time friend and former wing-man. He is Amos's go-to for health and fitness tips or a good time out on the town.
Bridesmaid
Corinne is the best thing that came out of Megan's 8AM Spanish 201 class at GVSU. Luckily they had to work on a group project, or else these introverts probably would never have spoken to each other.
Groomsman
Matthew and Amos grew up attending the same church, but their friendship became stronger later in life hanging out at Adam's house. Matthew is the group's in-house expert on all things baseball.
Ring Bearer
Cheque is our second youngest nephew. He is a fountain of knowledge on Pokemon and random facts just like his Uncle Amos.
Flower Girl
Moriah is our youngest niece. She always brings a smile to our faces with her adorable antics and irresistible cuteness.
Master & Mistress of Ceremonies
Mimi is Amos's only sister. She is the baker of the family and is the genius behind the wedding desserts. Mimi's high school sweetheart, Rahsaan, has been part of the Acosta family since before Amos was born. We are grateful that both of them are helping with the setup and behind the scenes making of our wedding.
Officiant
Pastor Jason is our pastor at Centerpoint City Church. He has helped us with premarital counseling, and we are grateful to have him performing our ceremony.
