Ricky & Elissa met in 2012, just two servers working at a catering hall. Neither of them expected to be where they are today. In 2016, Ricky and Elissa became closer than ever— always going on various adventures together around NYC. Then, in July of 2016, Ricky picked up Elissa from work, he dropped her off, and as she was putting her keys into the door, he ran out of the car and decided to profess his undying love to Elissa on her porch steps (although if you ask Ricky, that’s not how the story goes lol). They always had a running joke that he would propose with a blue ring pop. Fast forward to January of 2020, they found out Elissa was pregnant only a month and a half before the pandemic hit— putting all of Ricky’s plans on hold. It was a bit of a tough year, Elissa was no longer working as a nanny due to being pregnant during Covid, Ricky was starting his first year as a cop, and neither of them knew what the future had in store. Then, at a party for Amelia’s 2nd Birthday, Ricky popped the question— using a blue ring pop ringbox!! And thus, a new chapter for them begins. Ricky & Elissa are so excited for this new chapter, and for their family and friends to celebrate with them!

Flight
This airport is approximately 32 miles away from the wedding hall, making it about an hour-long drive. If you are coming in from New York, the drive is only about 3.5 hours. It’s a drive the bride and groom have made many many times, and probably one of the easiest roadtrips ever!
Semi-formal to formal attire. For ladies, that means any dress that goes past the knees, or any fancy jumpsuit if that's what you prefer. For men, suits with jackets & a tie, but no need for a tuxedo! For kids under the age of 10, they can wear jeans, sneakers, and/or t-shirts if they don't feel like getting dressed up.
The ceremony is being held at the same venue as the reception. It will start promptly at 5:30, so please be early so you don't miss it! No one will be allowed in once the ceremony starts.
