We met when we were kids via our Mothers, they were good friends. I don't think either were interested as kids nor teens, always seemed like family. We peaked an interested as young adults, always laughing and flirting but remained friends throughout the years. There was always a sense of respect and something felt genuine about our friendship. His sister, LeeLee ( my good friend) had a birthday brunch at Marias in August 2020. We exchanged numbers and began to talk on the phone, he asked me out and we became official 01/01/2021.
