The welcome party will be held at Jet Wine Bar, an outdoor space at a casual restaurant. We invite you to dress up while keeping it relaxed. You’ll be perfectly comfortable in a sundress, or in slacks or jeans (no tie needed). Think stylish yet laid-back—ideal for enjoying the casual setting while still looking great. Kids are welcome at this event.
We will provide some light bites and drinks will be available for purchase.

Wedding Ceremony and Reception

The dress code is semi-formal. You can choose to wear a suit or slacks with a nice shirt. For dresses, feel free to wear any length you prefer.
Our ceremony is scheduled to begin promptly at 5:00 PM. To ensure you don’t miss a moment of the celebration and to help us start on time, we kindly ask that you arrive a little earlier. We recommend arriving by 4:45 PM to find your seat and settle in before we begin. We will be having a cocktail style reception with free flowing, open seating. Please wear comfy shoes and be prepared to spend some time on your feet.

What does a cocktail-style/open seating reception mean?
Answer
A cocktail-style reception means that instead of a formal sit-down dinner, we will have a more relaxed atmosphere with various food stations and passed hors d’oeuvres. Open seating means there aren’t assigned seats—feel free to find a spot to enjoy your food, but we encourage you to get up and mingle so others can have a chance to sit too!

For dresses, feel free to wear any length you prefer. It’s a cocktail-style/shared seating reception, so we encourage wearing comfy shoes. Please save whites and creams for the bride. Is there parking at the venue?

There is a paid parking garage nearby at 1061 S 15th St, Philadelphia PA 19146. It is a 5 minute walk (3-4 blocks) to the venue. We highly recommend taking an Uber or carpooling if you are able. Please plan to arrive early if driving to allow for park time. I will also add a map to the website.

The wedding and reception will all be taking place at The Deacon. The entire venue is inside!

Unfortunately, we can only accommodate those listed on the invite due to our smaller venue and limited space. Thanks for understanding! We really hope you can make it.

Unfortunately, we will not be providing transportation to the wedding. We recommend using Uber or Lyft for convenience. The ride should take approximately 10 minutes, depending on traffic. To ensure you arrive on time, please plan to reach the venue by around 4:45 PM, as the ceremony will start promptly at 5:00 PM. Thank you for your understanding!
