We first met at Corey's cousin's (Marissa's Friend) wedding, where Marissa was a bridesmaid. Our initial connection happened on the dance floor, sparked by a conversation amid confusion about the DJ's “Cupid shuffle” remix. As the wedding festivities wrapped up, Corey asked Marissa for her contact information. Over the next few weeks, we started dating. Within just a few months, our connection deepened, making us inseparable and shaping the beautiful journey that brought us to where we are today.

It was a beautiful San Diego summer day. Corey planned a picnic in Kate Sessions Park. At sunset we walked around the park and we stopped in a more secluded area of the park. It was there that Corey got down on one knee and proposed to Marissa. Marissa said yes and now here we are! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in San Diego!
