Things To Do

Tower Grove Park

4257 Northeast Drive, St. Louis, MO 63110

Tower Grove park is a great place to go for a walk or have a picnic. This is where we had our engagement photos taken!

The Crow's Nest

7336 Manchester Road, Maplewood, MO 63143

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Maplewood. Sit outside on their patio if it's nice out! Matt's favorite is the Wisconsin Burger (with cheese curds!) and Mariah loves the fried tomato sandwhich!

Schlafly Bottleworks

7260 Southwest Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63143

Schlafly is a brewery and restaurant we love in Maplewood. It is less than a mile from our house, so we often walk there when it's nice out. If you go, be sure to try their Oktoberfest beer! We also took some of our engagement photos here!

The Grove

St. Louis, MO

The grove is a fun neighborhood in St. Louis, with restaurants, bars, and shops. Check out Urban Chestnut (another favorite brewery of ours), Gramophone (they have delicious sandwiches) and Grace Meat + Three (really cool place with good BBQ!)

FAQs

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

No kids please! This will be an adults only wedding. While we love your kiddos, we want to eliminate distractions, and allow everyone the chance to let loose and enjoy themselves. We encourage you to use this evening as a night out for yourself! Please arrange childcare as we will not be allowing any children into the venue.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited, so please do not bring any additional guests. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding and please feel free to reach out with any questions.

Question

What is the parking situation?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are in the same location, and there is ample parking! It is on a dead end street with plenty street parking, in addition to having a designated parking lot. There will be an open bar, so we encourage guests to uber/lyft if needed.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Dress to impress in your cocktail or garden party attire! Please no jeans/denim and avoid shades of white.

Question

When do we need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by September 1st, using the RSVP page on our website. Space is limited at the venue, so if you are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible. If you do not RSVP in time, we will assume that you are unable to attend.

Question

What do I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be dearly missed, but we understand! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "not attending" so we can plan accordingly. Thank you!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 6:00pm. Please arrive at least 15-30 minutes prior to the ceremony to allow time for parking and finding your seat. There will be a string trio playing for you to enjoy while you wait!

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning we ask that all phones and cameras be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us, and for our photographer and videographer to be able to capture the best pictures and video, which we will share with you when we get them back! Once the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like and don't forget to share them with us!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! The drinks are on us, get ready to party! For this reason, we encourage you to uber/lyft to and from the venue. Please make sure you have a way to get home safely.
