How it All Began...
Trent and Manzanita were somewhat familiar with each other due to their involvement in ultimate frisbee. However, what really did the trick was when Manzanita made the bold move of sitting next to Trent in a class. Both lovebirds went to class just to catch a glimpse of each other, finding it hard to concentrate on anything else but one another. From there, their love unraveled!

Make sure to come for our Pre-Ceremony Cocktail Party with Appetizers! If you are not staying overnight on-site, please make sure you arrive by this time.
For those of you that tend to arrive late, the arrival time is really 2pm ;)
Wedding

Please wear semi-formal attire. Make sure you feel great! Dress up! The ceremony site has grass so be careful with your choice in heels. Our bridal party will be in Forest Green.
The Ceremony Site(Grand Sierra Point) is about 1 mile up the road from the Forest House Lodge. As a group, we will be driving to the ceremony site in a parade line about 30min before.
Reception Meal

This post is for those of you that plan your world around food, like the bride and groom.
After the ceremony there will be a post ceremony cocktail party with appetizers, bridal party introductions, dinner, toasts, cake cutting, formal dances, after party, and game room activities!

When must I RSVP by?

RSVP ASAP to help us out! If you are unable to attend please RSVP "Will Not Attend". You must RSVP by April 30th. Don't wait to the last second and miss your opportunity!

Semi-formal. Whatever you feel great in! Keep in mind the bridesmaids will be wearing forest green dresses.

What do I do if I am staying on-site?

ALL ON-SITE HOTEL ROOMS HAVE BEEN BOOKED. There are no more available. The cost per hotel room is on average $135. You will be assigned a room by the bride and groom. You will pay for your room at check in and receive brunch(8am-10am) the next day. The rooms are upstairs at the Forest House Lodge so they couldn't be anymore convenient! Check-In is 11am-2pm on June 13th and Check-Out is at 11am on June 14th.

You will be able to park for free right in front of the venue(Forest House Lodge).

Where is the Ceremony Site?
Answer
The Ceremony Site(Grand Sierra Point) is about 1 mile up the road from the Forest House Lodge. As a group, we will be driving to the ceremony site in a parade line about 30min before the ceremony. Squish people into vehicles! The staff will direct you when to leave and they will help to usher everyone.

Is it an open bar?
Answer
No. However the bride and groom have paid so you can have 1-2 free drinks from the bar(beer and wine only). The free drinks will be after the ceremony. So any drinks ordered from the bar prior to the ceremony will not be free. Any complimentary champagne and toasts will be free. Bar opens at 3pm.

Can I bring Alcohol?
Answer
No. Not even if you leave it in your hotel room. If any of our guests bring outside alcohol in the venue we will receive a substantial fine. You will be held responsible. The venue has a full bar.

If I have a food allergy or I am vegan or vegetarian what should I do?

When you RSVP on this website there will be a section where you can add notes. If you forget to add it there, please text Manzanita ASAP.

Can I take pictures and record throughout the day?

When is the wedding rehearsal?
Answer
The wedding rehearsal is 4-5pm on June 12th, 2024. If you are in the wedding party or helping with photography, coming to the wedding rehearsal would be great but it is optional. For those of you that are in the area on June 12th, we will most likely be having a potluck lunch before the rehearsal at Aunt Celeste's house in Grass Valley starting at 11am. More details to come!

Are there plans for the next day, June 14th?

Yes! We plan to spend the day at Lake Folsom, near our house. Lake day! More info to come.

When does Manzanita and Trent leave for their Honeymoon? Where will it be?

We fly out to the Dominican Republic on June 15th at 12:17am!!! If anyone wants to stay up really late on June 14th with us and take us to the Sac airport that would be cute. Let us know!
