September 27th, 2023.
Our ceremony will start at 2pm. We ask that you start arriving at least 20-30 minutes before to get in and grab a seat.
Nothing in particular. Do it up! Wear the thing you have nowhere to wear it to. That fun outfit you own waiting for the right occasion.
Plus ones have already been sorted. We have a small space and limited guest count, sorry!
Ijams has a few parking lots around. It will be a Saturday in the fall, so it is possible other Nature Center guests will have taken the main lot’s spots. There is a gravel lot across the street of the main road, and another near the quarry.
We are planning a family dinner as well as a friends get together. Eli & I will communicate those with you directly.

Flight
The closest airport to us is McGhee Tyson. It is in Knoxville, shown as (TYS) on flight websites. It’s only 18 miles, or about 20 minutes from Ijams or the Downtown Knoxville area. Frontier flies into Knoxville with 3-4 day weekend trip dates for pretty cheap!
We LOVE this place. Eli and I have become weekly regulars. We recommend the Margaritas and Chicken Taquitos.
Kitschy tiki bar in downtown Knox. The Blue Hawaii is my favorite. (They also have fun group cocktails you can share) Say hi to Zoe for us!
Eli worked here through college! Best Thai food in town. We recommend the Panaang Curry, Lo Mein, & the Red Dragon roll. Say hi to Gabe for us!
Mak was a barista here for yearsss! Fun fact: She met Stephanie (Eli’s mom) as a regular before ever even knowing Eli hehehe. We recommend the Hand Tart, any Croissant, the Espresso Tonic & the Iced Lavender Latte. Say hi to… literally everyone for us!
Super cute little Jewish deli on Gay Street. We recommend the Whitefish Bialy & Avo Tartine. Say hi to Bailey for us!
Our favorite bar with the best patio. We recommend the Highway Strobbery & the Pimento Cheese.
Yummy Cambodian food. If you like Pho, this is the place. We recommend the Tofu & Eggplant, Yaum salad, and Chili Crisp Noodles.
Bagels. What else do you need to hear? We recommended the BLT on a Salt & Pepper bagel.
Quite literally the best pizza you will eat in your life. We recommend the Spicy Greens. Say hi to Shanks for us!
Owned by Wild Love Bakehouse peeps. All the same goodies, different locations. Say hi to Sara for us!
Another one of our top faves. Italian food with a rotating seasonal menu. We recommend the Grilled Romaine Heart, the Campanelle con Funghi y Pinoli (the best mushroom pasta, and it’s vegan!) & the Pork Milanese.
Lil’ corner bar. If you want to see a golden retriever, you’ll most likely find one here. Say hi to Naty for us!
Funky sours. Charcuterie boards. Flatbreads. We recommend the Oak Room Experience & the Salad.
Hands down, Best Burger in town! We recommend the Abridged Burger & the Fried Green Tomatoes.
