Maddie and Darrion met for the first time as young teens at a regional convention. They honestly don’t remember much from that first meeting except: 1) They each secretly thought the other person was cute 2) Darrion had candy that he didn’t share with Maddie. The pair became best friends but eventually they lost touch with each other. Flash forward a few years, and Darrion and Maddie became friends again. (It’s still under debate who reached out to who first.) Over time, they got closer through doing early morning letter writing with friends on Zoom and Zoom game nights. Soon they were best friends again. What really sealed the deal was when Darrion bought Maddie a dinosaur planter for her cactus. (Swoon) The rest is history! After 7 years of friendship, Darrion and Maddie are so excited to be getting married on September 24, 2023! They’re grateful for all your love and support in beginning this new adventure!
