Our beginning
It was late summer of 2019 and both Lydia and René were on the dating scene. Which meant a Dating App called Bumble ... the premise is simple... read a short bio, check out some pics, and swipe right if you're interested. WELL... they both swiped right on each other's profile and it was a match. What were our reasons for swiping right? René: "She was cute and had a gorgeous smile." Lydia: "Because he said he knew where all the good taco spots were". They quickly hit it off and planned their first date. The night consisted of smiles, laughter, and non-stop conversation. They both have roots in South Texas. They both love good music. They both love dogs. They both have LOTS of family and friends they love. And they both smiled the whole night. Thus began the courtship of two Garcias. On April 3, 2021 at their favorite chocolate shop CocoAndre, René proposed to Lydia. She was taken by surprise and delighted to say YES! Lydia and René are excited to have you present on their special day. Plan to eat, dance, and celebrate on November 18th!

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?
Answer
We ask that you arrive to the ceremony 30 minutes prior to it starting to ensure you are able to sit where you wish.

ARE KIDS INVITED?

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of immediate family. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

Yes! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you. We have been waiting a long time for this day so party accordingly.

CAN I TAKE PHOTOS DURING THE CEREMONY?

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means we are asking that all phones be put away and turned to silent/off during the ceremony. After the ceremony feel free to take as many photos as you want!
