Sometimes love begins in the most unexpected places—and for us, it was on a party bus. Over the years, we had crossed paths a few times, but everything truly started on January 20, 2024. We were celebrating Megan Frascella’s 29th birthday (our Maid of Honor!) when Brandon Beam invited Luke to join the fun. That night, the party bus was buzzing with energy as we made our way through Louisville, Kentucky. Laughter, music, and celebration filled the air, but for us, something else sparked—a connection we both instantly felt. By the time we reached Taj bar, we already knew this night was going to be unforgettable. Taj will always hold a special place in our hearts—it’s where we shared stolen kisses, laughed until our cheeks hurt, and realized we had found something truly special. Fast forward through the most amazing 11 months of our lives together, and on December 28, 2024, Luke got down on one knee at the botanical gardens. Surrounded by glowing Christmas lights, he asked me to spend forever as Mrs. Calfee. But Luke wasn’t done making the night magical. After celebrating with our families, we enjoyed a romantic dinner at Volaré—just the two of us, giddy and so in love. And just when I thought the surprises were over, Luke said, “It all started on a party bus, so I wanted to end our engagement night on a party bus.” Waiting for us outside was a bus filled with all our closest friends! We danced, laughed, and celebrated the night away, ending the evening where it all began—at Taj bar, with the people we love most.
