Our Story

Our connection was simple. We both swiped right and we were talking non-stop until our first date. Tim asked me out after a few days of talking for dinner. Before our date, I found out we had a mutual connection (Tommy McQuillian). I called Tommy to confirm Tim was real and a good guy. Tommy confirmed and encouraged me to go on the date. Our first date was at Mallards. We both ordered tacos and the conversation was flowing. We shut the place down talking about our common interests, families (which we both love so much we BOTH bought houses next to them before meeting one another), bass fishing tournaments, our childhood, college, careers, out of state experiences that led us both back to MN, ours goals and dreams for the future. We quickly found out we had A LOT in common. We were excited for what was next. We went on a second date, and another one after that, and another one… and the rest is history. I’m happy to reminisce on our dates during our island adventure.. Long story short, we were two wholes coming together - adventuring, learning about each other, growing, laughing, traveling and so much more. Tim proposed on Deer Lake on the Pontoon. It was a special and memorable moment for both of us. There were lots of smiles, laughter and X&Os.
