Yes, we attached some hotels in town, please do your research on them we weren’t able to check everything out in person. There’s also Air BnBs in town, search for group deals!

In some spots yes, there are places with Wifi. Definitely no cell service in the mountain area as you drive up. Please make sure your GPS is on before you start driving…

Is there anything else we should know?

Answer

Yes, There’s a park entry fee of 35$ per vehicle good for 7 days unless you have the annual National park pass than it’s free to enter. If you’re a senior you can purchase the park pass for 20$ and you have free entry all year long! Here, check out this website for more information https://www.nps.gov/planyourvisit/passes.htm Come a few days early or stay a few days later, the town is beautiful and worth an extra stay for a day or two. The drive from Southern California is about 4 hours depending on traffic… if you have any other questions or concerns just give us a call!
