Believe it or not..... The TikTok Love Story
Oddly enough, the title is true. Tiktok brought us together. Lisa actually saw a video Lucas had posted about being single. Just a single picture, and low and behold, Bold Lisa took a chance and messaged Lucas. Not even knowing where he was from just introducing herself and striking up a conversation not even thinking he would reply. Not even 20 minutes later Lucas replied, and the conversations never stopped. After a couple weeks of talking, texting and video chats they decided to meet. Being that Lisa lived in Bellevue Ne and Lucas lived in De Soto Iowa it was only a few hours drive away. Lisa actually got the nerve to make the drive to Lucas. Of course after having a strong conversation with her best friend Amanda and her Boss Chelsea making sure they knew where she was and if they didn't hear from her to send a search party. LOL!!! Tiktok really pulled through for both Lisa and Lucas on this one. Ever since the day they met they were perfect and inseparable. No one really believe that they met on Tiktok. A comedian even said once to them, " Tiktok has a dating site" -Pete Lee- Needless to say, from the moment they laid eyes on each other they both knew this day would come at some point. They knew that they would spend the rest of their lives together. And it's about time he finally asked to make it official.

Lucas was born in 1988 on an Airforce base in Arizona. Traveled all over the US before stopping in Wisconsin and had a beautiful daughter named Makayla. Lucas than decided to leave Wisconsin and move to Iowa where he then met Lisa through TikTok and fell in love with her. Also falling in love with her family. He asked her children and parents before proposing to her and got a yes from everyone except her dad that said are you sure you want to lol. But he said yes he does eventually. Even though he had a bad back from getting hurt at work, he still got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Lucas never believed he would ever get married, and you could ask his friends and family that they never thought he would get married either but, it's happening people. She must be a very special woman that he actually asked.

Born and raised in Bellevue Nebraska not really too much to tell. I have 3 kids Dylan, Devon, and Nevaeh. I was a cosmetologist for 13 years and now am an executive assistant for a home health care agency where I have been for 8 years. I work and I am a family woman and I always put others before myself. One thing you will want to know about me is Camera filters are my life. If no filter, I will hate the pictures. Besides that, I guess 3rd time is a charm for sure as I have never been happier than I am after finding Lucas. He really brought more out of not only me but brought light back into my kids life after a nasty divorce and a very dark point in our lives. I've seen so many things in myself and the kids over the past almost 2 years that I haven't seen in many years, all because Lucas gave us all a chance and decided to take on a pre-made family head on without asking questions. We couldn't be happier and I can't want for the next chapter in our lives.

Chris is a teacher and was originally Lisa's friend for years (and still is) than became Lucas best friend. He is a go to guy when anything is needed and is always there when you need him. We are Extremely excited to have Chris apart of our wedding and Chris is very happy to be the best man in the wedding as well.

Amada and Lisa first met at Smart style over 20 years ago when Amanda was actually her boss and hit it off so well that they have been sisters and ride or die bitch (excuse the language) ever since. People actually mistake them for sisters over the years. They have laughed, cried, bled and made many memories together but most importantly never left each others sides even in the darkest of days. Lisa couldn't be more honored to have a more special person that respects her standing next to her as she takes takes this next step in life with Lucas.

Codi is an odd ball! He works with Lucas and that is how they became friends. They enjoy working on vehicles together and are constantly trying to find more things to work on. Codi is another type of man that you can always rely on to lend a helping hand when you need it or just come over and eat all your food. More or less he is family. He is very excited to be a groomsman and enjoy our special day.

Amanda Silva-Worthy is Lisa's cousin and one of her greatest friends. Over the past few years, they have created an incredible bond that have made us closer than ever. we have shared many memories and this day would not be the same without Amanda by Lisa's side.

Terry has been a great friend of Lisa's for many years and adopted Lucas as his own after meeting him and have definitely bonded over time. Terry also works at Edwards Dodge and Jeep in Council Bluffs for all your dodge and Jeep needs.

Haley is Lisa's oldest Niece. Lisa and Haley have always had a special bond together and just simply clicked. When Haley found out about the engagement she automatically jumped on anything she could do to help with anything Lisa and Lucas needed even started sending samples and venues and colors and marketplace items all in the matter of 20 minutes. She was on top of it. So when Lisa asked her to be a bridesmaid Haley's response was' " I was waiting for you to ask" LOL God love her. We are blessed to have her as a part of the wedding party

Groomsman
Zach is an old coworker of Lucas' who he became friends with and both enjoyed working on vehicles, even though he likes Volkswagens and fords he still became good friends with Lucas. If you haven't noticed there is a theme of mechanic friends but Zach is one that is always helping walk Lucas through tough situations
Bobbie Jo Rodenburg
Bridesmaid
Bobbie is Married to Chris the Best Man and a Good Friend of Lisa and has been there for her in many hard times as well as great times. Chris and Bobbie have made the past year and a half for Lucas and Lisa absolutely fantastic as wonderful friends and couldn't be happier to have them both stand up with them on their special day.

Devon is Lisa's middle child. Devon has been a huge strength for Lisa and inspiration for both Lisa and Lucas. Devon and Lucas have bonded so much in the relationship. So much that Devon has become a better man because of Lucas. Devon will be walking down the aisle with his little sister Nevaeh on the big day.

Nevaeh is Lisa's daughter and super excited to be a part of the wedding. She cried probably harder than Lisa did when the proposal happened. Nevaeh has made it very clear that this is her wedding too. so don't be surprised if she is just as emotional as the bride. She is also super excited to have a stepped up dad.

Dylan is Lisa's oldest son and will be walking Lisa's Mother, Donna down to her seat before the ceremony. I truly believe that Dylan has developed into not only a man but a better person because Lucas came into our lives.

Lisa's Father. War Veteran and Gorilla lover. Our family loves to sit around and listen to not only his war stories but the stories of his troubles growing up and troubles he got himself into.

Lisa's mother born and raised in Bellevue NE moving to Texas for a short period of time. (Dad didn't win long) Donna was always about her family and put everyone before herself. As she still does today. Lisa and her mom are extremely close. Lisa still calls her every day just to check in and make sure everything's ok and see how her day is.

D'Arcy is the mother of the groom. She is a navy vet and currently lives in Baton Rouge LA. She is a grandmother of 7 and mother of 4. She is extremely happy for the upcoming wedding
William Miller (Mr. Bill)

MR. Bill has been a god send to Lucas and Lisa since the day he and his wife Mel moved in next door to them. We have had many gatherings, and home cooked meals together and consider each other family through and through. One of the first things Lisa and Lucas decided on was that Mr. Bill would be the only person to make this day complete if he would be the one to marry them and he graciously accepted.
Nathan Peters

Nathan is Lisa nephew and Haley’s husband. Lucas and Lisa have asked Nathan to add a wonderful addition to the wedding as being their flower man. Nathan’s great humor and willingness to take this on will have us all in for a treat for the beginning of the ceremony to start us out in a great atmosphere.
