Catherine’s bridesmaid Caitlin said it best “Thank God for modern technology & female-led dating apps — amirite?!” And so… we walked into a bar, one of us an hour late.
After 2 years of “long distance” in Boston from Brookline to Somerville (Catherine taking the MBTA 86 bus end-to-end), 2 years in Malden, MA (Chris commuting an hour to work each way) and a year in Portsmouth, NH — with a few trips to Antigua sprinkled in — Hobey decided to sit Chris down and have an honest conversation about the future. After 5 years (+2 days) on the hottest day of the year in Belgrade Lakes, ME — we said “I do” to Proulx.
We’re excited to celebrate with you in the White Mountains of New Hampshire at The Wentworth Inn! In 1869, Joshua Trickey built The Wentworth as a wedding gift to his daughter Georgia Trickey and her husband-to-be, General Marshall Wentworth. We know that in celebration with our friends and family our love will surely stand the test of time. Let’s eat, drink and get married!
Hotel
To book accommodations at the Wentworth Inn and receive the wedding rate guests will need to call the hotel directly (603-383-9700) and mention you are attending the LANG/PROULX wedding. For guests staying at The Wentworth, wedding rates include daily breakfast along with morning and afternoon snacks at each floor and cottage kitchenette.
Travel Note
The Wentworth offers a variety of accommodation options including traditional rooms, private spa suites, cottages and multiple bedroom vacation rentals within walking distance to the main inn. The vacation rentals are individually owned but maintained and booked through The Wentworth. All wedding activities are located on the Wentworth Inn property, because of this we have decided not to offer transportation to offsite accommodations.

Wedding party coming soon!
We’re aiming for formal. Dress up, stay warm (the tent has heat) and take inspiration from jewel tones. Ladies in long or ankle length dresses and men in suits or blazers/sport coats and slacks. Bridesmaids and groomsmen will be in black with green accents.
Same! But the future can be the day after our wedding. Respectfully, this is a night off from the kids.
All wedding activities are located on the Wentworth Inn property, because of this and the tiered-accommodation options we have decided not to offer additional transportation to offsite accommodations. Please note Uber/Lift options are extremely limited and take this into consideration when booking accommodations. We want this to be a safe and celebratory weekend for all!
An uncovered parking lot with accessible parking is directly in front of the Wentworth Inn when turning off of Carter Notch Road. There are also two Tesla electric charging stations on property for guest use.
