We made the right swipe! He took a chance on her even though she was holding a drink in 3 of her pics and she took a chance on him even though he had a couple gym selfies. After an extended texting stage due to a Covid quarantine, we skipped past the coffee date and walk in the park and made the commitment to a fancy dinner at Ted's Montana Grill.
After a diamond deep dive and an exhaustive search, Kris knew he had found the one at The Diamond Cellar. With perfect ring in hand, the next step was to ask for Steve's permission to marry his beautiful daughter, Jen. Luckily, Steve gave his approval and said “mums the word.” That same evening, Kris met Jen at her house as she returned from work. Jen rested on the couch, a well earned break after a very hard week of work, while Kris did the dishes. Kris, in nervous anticipation, began pacing. Jen asked if he wanted to sit down and he declined, kissing her forehead. Jen was confused — why was Kris acting so weird? He then stood in front of her and said, “I know it will never be the right time…” and he got down on his left knee. And well, obviously she said yes!
We wanted something special and we were excited to work with two of our close friends. Special thanks to Staci Friedman for the watercolor painting she created specifically for our wedding. The limited print artwork (your invitation) can be framed and enjoyed in your home! And special thanks to Ashley Poczik for her design and preparation of the collection and ribbon selection.
