Never far away from each other, Alex and Kristen grew up in Chino Hills, California attending elementary school through high school together. Even though not romantically, their paths crossed a few times. They had some of the same classes, Ginger, (Kristen’s mom) was Kiana’s (Alex’s sister) Girl Scout leader. After college they were reunited at a funeral reception and shortly after Kristen watched Alex play at a gig on 4/20 in a backyard in Pomona. After a first date seeing a Grateful Dead cover band and a few more dates Kristen agreed to see one of Alex’s favorite bands Phish. After a night of dancing in the grass under the stars a strong bond was formed which blossomed into a lifelong love.
On a trip to Hawaii, shout out to Marwan and Carol for letting us stay at their beautiful home. After a strenuous hike up a mountain Alex popped the question on top of the pink pill box on the west side of Oahu. They spent the rest of the vacation relaxing, exploring the island and enjoying each others company.

Best Man
Alex and Connor met at Glenmeade elementary school and continued their education together. After classes together, a few birthday parties, and some more hangouts Connor got Alex a job at City Broiler in Chino Hills. They continued to work together through high school at a couple other Chino Hills eateries. They stayed tight during both their college tenures, attended countless concerts and music festivals and have shared tons of great experiences. Once Kristen came into the picture she blended in perfectly and has since joined in on all the fun times. Alex couldn’t imagine anyone else being by his side and is honored for him to be there on the big day.
Maid of Honor
Kristen and Katherine met in college rushing for Alpha Xi Delta. By chance Katherine and Kristen happened to move into a house together as they separately had rented out rooms. While moving in they bonded quickly over their sarcastic attitudes and common interests. They were inseparable and complemented each other well. Some would even say they were a little too close, they even nicknamed their duo KSQUARED. After going their separate ways Kristen and Katherine stayed close. Kristen couldn't imagine anyone else by her side on this joyous day!
Officiant
A true gentleman and scholar, Ellery has been a lifelong family friend to Alex and always was the example of what a cool older kid could be. As they reached adulthood they got a lot closer and bonded over quoting music, movies, and tv shows. After Alex and Kristen got together, she was slowly brought into all these references. Since then, they all have attended many concerts together, partied into early hours of the morning, and shared tons of laughs. The Bride & Groom are very excited to have such a great friend officiating their ceremony.
