All I can say is that there is so much we can testify about the goodness of God, His faithfulness, His grace, and His plans in and throughout our lives. Ethan and I met at our campus ministry at Virginia Tech called CCVT. Our campus minister, Mike Stohler, introduced us because he knew we were both majoring in construction management. Little did we know we were meeting the person we would marry! After we met, we ended up seeing each other a lot, whether that was in a class we had together or at CCVT. Even though everyone in my life (other than Ethan) knew I had the biggest crush on him, we remained friends. As my feelings grew for Ethan I could not help but wonder if he had the same feelings for me. Thanks to our friend Hannah, I got Ethan’s contact info! I had it on my phone for almost two weeks before I gained the nerve (with a little bit of encouragement from some friends) to send him a message. When I finally did, Ethan asked me out on our first date. It was so easy and natural and fun and full of laughter! We just seemed to click! The rest of our story is history! At the time, we had no idea that God was bringing and introducing us to our life-long partner. We know He has placed us in one another's lives for a special reason: to love and do life together - all to honor Jesus. It is so beautiful to see God's hand and faithfulness throughout our relationship. We are so very excited to start a new chapter of life together and cannot wait to see where the Lord will bless us and lead us!
