Located 15 mins from town, this is the easiest place to fly into in Santa Fe. However, there are no direct flights from NY and other east coast destinations.

Located an hour from Santa Fe, this airport sports the most flight options (even a direct Jetblue flight from JFK).

As with all international airports, ABQ Sunport has a ton of car rental options to fit any budget! While you will be able to get an Uber from ABQ to get to Santa Fe, ride share in Santa Fe itself is limited and car rentals will offer more flexibility and reliability when it comes to getting around town. We highly recommend renting a car if you don't plan on using our shuttle to get to the wedding on Saturday or need to leave the event early for any reason.

La Fonda on the Plaza
We will be hosting our Welcome Party event here! The La Fonda is one of the most iconic hotels in Santa Fe and is located right on the Historic Plaza. We have reserved a room block with rates of $329 + tax for Traditional King rooms and $389 + tax for Deluxe rooms. The hotel offers overnight parking for $30/day. The room block will be available until Monday, September 16, 2024. Piñon Court
This is the sister property of the La Fonda. We have a block here with rates for a classic queen or fireplace King room for 279/night plus tax and a $25 per night amenity fee. Junior suites are priced at 309/night plus those additional fees as well. This is a great option to be in walking distance of the plaza and close to the La Fonda without staying in the center of everything! Please refer to the Heaney/Lanuk wedding if calling to book, or Group Code 1140333. The room block will be available until Monday, September 16, 2024.

Drury Plaza Hotel in Santa Fe
We have booked a small block at various hotels around the Santa Fe plaza at different nightly rates to fit all budgets. The Drury Hotel on the north side of the Santa Fe plaza is walking distance from the Welcome Party location at the La Fonda Hotel. The rate also includes complementary hot breakfast, complementary evening beverages and snacks, and free wifi. We have an additional room block at the Inn of the Governors on West Alameda Street off the Plaza. Rates include free breakfast, a welcome amenity of sherry and biscochitos, free wifi and parking. We have booked an additional block of rooms at the Sage Concept Hotel. This hotel is the farthest on the list from the Plaza, but still walkable. Rates for a Traditional King or Traditional Queen are reserved for $171/night. Rates include: breakfast from 7-10am daily, shuttle service to the Santa Fe Plaza, free wi-fi and parking, 15% off food while dining at their on-site restaurant Social Kitchen + Bar. Is there a dress code?
Answer
We are requesting that our guests dress in black tie attire with western accents. Cowboy hats, western boots, western belt buckles, fringe, sparkles and everything in between all welcome! - think Country Music Awards. Please DO NOT wear jeans.

Should I be worried about altitude sickness?
Answer
Santa Fe is the highest capital city in the US at over 7000ft. It may take a day or 2 to acclimate to the elevation, so be sure to drink a lot of water and give yourself time to acclimate!

What will the weather be like?
Answer
The event will take place outdoors beginning early afternoon. Average temps in Ribera have been around 75 during the day and can drop to around 60 once the sun goes down. We will provide heat-lamps and firepits for additional warmth in the evening. There is also a barn on site we will hold the event in in case of inclement weather.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?
Answer
Dinner will be served buffet style with tons of vegetarian options. All food served at the event besides for a few (labeled) desserts will be entirely gluten free. If you require further accommodation please let the bride know at least 2 months in advance of the event.

How do I get there?
Answer
For guests traveling in from outside New Mexico, we recommend flying into either the Santa Fe regional airport (15 mins from town) or the Albuquerque International Sunport (1 hour from Santa Fe). It is easy to get Ubers or rent cars from either airport. Once our guests have arrived in Santa Fe at their hotels, we will provide transportation to and from the venue on Saturday

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
Yes- we will be providing transportation to and from the event from both hotels with blocks (if you are staying elsewhere and are utilizing our transporation services, you will need to get yourself to the designated pick up point). We will be providing transport back to Santa Fe in waves starting at 9pm. If for any reason you need to leave the event earlier than that, we request that you find your own means of transport. There are no Ubers or car services available in Ribera, so please plan accordingly and don't miss the bus!

Can I bring my child?

No, unfortunately, this will be a child-free event. The venue is located on top of a mesa with no fencing along the ridge and is not safe for children without constant supervision - we want everyone to be able to relax and enjoy the day!

Can I stay at a different hotel or in an AirBnb?
Answer
Yes absolutely - October is one of the most popular times of year to visit Santa Fe. We know many of our guests will be traveling in from out of town to be a part of our day and want everyone to do what's best for their families and budgets. There are hundreds of reasonably priced AirBnb's located within walking distance of the Santa Fe plaza. We only ask that if you plan to use our transportation services for the reception, you will get yourself to the designated pick up point. We will not be providing transportation to the Welcome Event so unless you're planning to rent a car or Uber, we recommend staying within walking distance of the La Fonda Hotel.
