Answer

No, there are other hotels in town. The Saratoga Inn has semi private access to the hot pools, and there are many campgrounds around the valley and surrounding mountains.

Yes, at the park next door. Be prepared to walk for a minute or two.

Will I need transportation?

Answer

The ceremony is in Encampment and the reception is in Saratoga (20 miles apart). The hotel is several blocks from the reception, so you can probably walk back to your hotel room at the end of the night.

What is the weather forecast?

Answer

Look out your window in the morning, because your guess is as good as mine! The ceremony will be outdoors so you may want a hat, sunscreen, a parka, mittens, or an umbrella. The reception will be indoors. We will have an indoor backup plan for the PVCC (reception site) if it gets really nasty.

Probably best to pack a little snack for yourself. We will serve appetizers and dinner including meat, cheese, fruits, sides, and desserts.
